these articulate columns belong to the summer palace, situated along the banks of the chao praya river in bangkok, thailand. this royal palace dates back to the reign of king rama v, and is considered a classic example of thai architecture. thailand has a truly remarkable history and culture, not to mention their incredible food. mmm. happy mother’s day btw.
