i missed her name. she ran towards me as i walked down the streets, downtown alexandria. within the hectic streets she hailed at me only with signals and giggles for me to take a photo of her. a few shots after, i showed her the results from the back of my camera, where she timidly drew back in reserve for some reason. still giggling but stepping back to go back and play with the rest of the children.

currently in barcelona: the winds are cold and the skies are grey. was fortunate enough to have a relatively dry day, a break from the rainy days that spain has been facing. been looking back and reminiscing the few sunrises i have experienced in the last few days, missing the golden glow offered by the mediterranean port of alexandria, egypt. need some warmth and still can’t digest the freezing (literally) weather that awaits in beijing.
